Tim Holtz Holiday Inspiration Series - Swirly Snowflakes

Hi folks...I'm sharing the last two cards I made for the Tim Holtz Holiday Inspiration Series. I hope you've been inspired and enjoyed all the amazing creations from a great team of talented designers as much as I have and a huge thank you to Tim, Mario and Paula for inviting me along on this fabulous creative journey.
Today's cards feature the Stampers Anonymous Swirly Snowflakes and Mini Swirly Snowflakes. If you follow my blog, you'll know that I need no excuse to add a gorgeous snowflake or two to a Christmas/Winter project and they don't come more gorgeous than these, the detail is amazing...
Swirly Snowflakes...
I trimmed panels of Christmas Kraftstock and the Christmas Mini 8 x 8 Stash Paper to be slightly smaller than the card blank. I inked the Swirly Snowflake and sentiment from the Watercolor Trees stamp set with Versamark ink and heat embossed with Ranger Super Fine White Embossing Powder on to a panel of Heat Resistant Acetate.
I heat embossed the Swirly Snowflake image on to a torn strip of vellum, pricked the holes with Tim Holtz Craft Pick and hand stitched all the layers together with Eclectic Elements thread.  I added an Idea-ology Number Token coloured with Picket Fence Distress Crayon, a Snowflake Adornment Charm painted with Picket Fence Distress Paint, decorated with a White Enamel Accent dot...
and finished of with Idea-ology Christmas Remnant Rubs and a Silver Metallic Trimmings bow.

Mini Swirly Snowflakes...
I covered a white card blank with the kraft side of the Christmas Kraftstock paper and cut a panel of the same paper to be slightly smaller. I stamped the Sparkles background from Sparkles and Christmas with Vintage Photo Distress Archival Ink and the Mini Swirly Snowflakes inked with Versamark and heat embossed with Ranger Super Fine White Embossing Powder.
I added a strip of the Christmas Kraftstock and Corrugated Texture Surface to the bottom, tapped the Versamark ink pad around the edges of the panel and across the surface of the corrugated section, sprinkled with White Embossing Powder and heat set.
I stamped the North Pole image from Holiday Postmarks with Versamark ink on to layered Christmas Kraftstock circles die cut with Sizzix Framelits layered and heat embossed as before. I wound Electic Elements thread around the corrugated section and added a bow. I stamped the Happy Holidays sentiment also from Holiday Postmarks on to Christmas Kraftstock, cut out and fixed over a die cut heat embossed circle.
and finished off by adding large dots of White Enamel Accents to the centres of the snowflakes.

To check out the amazing creations from the team this week, make sure you follow Tim on Facebook, Instagram and his Blog.
Toodle-oo for now
