Inspired by Finnabair...

Hi folks...time to share what we made at the morning workshop with the fabulous Finnabair at Damselfy Crafts...Anna or Finn is a seriously talented mixed media artist and a wonderful tutor...you couldn't fail to be inspired by her enthusiasm and fun method of teaching...taking us step-by-step through decorating our journal covers...
having fun adding texture and embellishments and in Finn's world there is no such thing as "Less Is More"...it's all about MORE...MORE and even MORE...
after loads of mega messy inky spraying and painting fun...the finished journal covers...I have to say the photograph doesn't do the project justice...there is no way to truly show the gorgeous touchy-feely texture and dimension...

I haven't had so much fun in ages in the company of the wonderful Finnabair...the lovely Anni and Yvonne from Damselfly Crafts...my lovely buddies Ann and Karen and the rest of the girls on the workshop...I'm so glad I didn't miss it but hey we still had oodles of goodies left in our class kit so after a yummy lunch...we got back to work and I'll share what we made in the afternoon tomorrow.

    What a fabulous Journal cover Kath. Anna is a wonderful teacher with such great enthusiasm for art. We also had Great day on the Saturday too. Hope she comes back to Scotland soon. Hugs Rita xxx
