What's on my Workdesk Wednesday

Morning folks...I'm beginning to think the cubbyhole's been selected for a get-away from it all...let's go have some fun holiday by the dreaded gremlins...2 days of disasters can't be a co-incidence surely and going by this morning's shenanigans...they've booked in for more than a mini-break. Playing silly beggars with The Furry Boy's bladder control meant a rude awakener from my cosy slumber...leaping out of bed at 5.00am and rocketing downstairs for an emergency call of nature ain't a great start to anybody's day. Even making tea and toast turned into a Krypton Factor Skills Contest wrestling with the superglued seal on the top of the milk and instead of my usual dark brown and crispy "just the way I like it" toast...I ended up with a cross between cotton wool and damp cardboard barely coloured...that toaster setting knob fiddler's been at it again.
But it's not all bad news...they haven't got round to playing fast and loose with the camera YET...so it's time to share what's on my workdesk and pop over to meet up with lots of crafty folks at Julia's place aka WOYWW.  A day of mucky inky fun is on the cards with Wendy Vecchi Studio 490 fabulous Art Parts and stamps...

but we're not out of the woods yet...it seems my trusty old keyboard has been struck down in the night with the incurable sticky key syndrome...so once I've sorted out the bird's nest hair...the polyfilla has dried and if the little beggars haven't moved the car keys..I'm off to get a replacement and will be typing out a great big EVICTION NOTICE and be warned Mr Blogger if you have any funny ideas about getting a piece of the action and adding to my life of woe..it will be all-out WAR

    I hate those days/weeks that are filled with one disaster after another. You get afraid to say, "What next?!" Your crafty space is looking good and has great things to play with, that is as long as the gremlins don't make off with it all when your back is turned.

    I love a woman who says what she means! I think the toaster thing is horrible, flabby toast - just makes me shudder! Loving the idea that you spend the day inking up the art parts, at least that will stop your fuses blowing!
