Craft Stamper Give-Away...

Hi folks...couldn't think of a catchy blog post title today folks...probably because the old grey matter is under a bit of pressure from the heat...now don't get me wrong I AM NOT complaining about the last 5 days of absolutely beautiful scorchio temperatures but I do have just one teeny weeny request...a little cooling breeze would be oh so welcome when it's time to head up the wooden hill to Bedfordshire...2 minutes in bed and I'm feeling like a greasy plook...tossing and turning half the night with a 5 stone furry hot water bottle at your feet means my brain is even more befuddled in the morning than usual and you know me...firing on only 25% of brainpower could lead me into all sorts of trouble. Not to mention the fact that by lunchtime the cubbyhole feels like a sauna...I'm sure there's a fan lurking somewhere in the loft but somehow I don't think paper and swirling currents of high speed cool air are going to be a marriage made in heaven so I may have to take drastic measures and become the crafty world's first NAKED CRAFTER...an image that's guaranteed to put you right off your breakfast cereal.
But soldier on we must in pursuit of the crafty samples and a message from the grandkiddies to say they were coming to visit today was the kick up the bum incentive I needed to get motivated and the demo box is looking a lot healthier...mind you all that productivity comes at a cost...the path into the cavern of all things crafty is slightly congested...
meaning that my Furry Partner is banished to the hall along with the bin bags of cubbyhole debris waiting to go to the skip...no doubt he'll have something to say about that and once he's had his snooze will be trotting off to HR to file a grievance report...
and it look's like the first task of the day is tidy up the postage stamp crafting debris...
But back to the title of today's post...I have copy of this month's Craft Stamper along with a bundle of cubbyhole goodies to give-away...
don't ask me why but 2 copies popped through my letterbox and if you want one...just pop your name in the hat by leaving your name with the little blue froggie below before 8pm on Sunday14th and I'll announce the winner on Monday morning.
Enjoy your day whatever you're doing and I'll see you all tomorrow
Hugs Kath xxx

  1. Oh, pick me, pick me, please. Maybe being first will be a lucky draw for me. I've been working on cleaning up my craft room, too. And it's so hot upstairs that I'm usually sweating profusely - or glowing magnificently - when I quit.
Thank you for the chance to win.

  2. There's nothing worse than the summer heat. do you have air conditioners ? Here in Houston,I don't know how people got by before there was air conditioning .Do you have humidity along with the heat ? I sure hope you do get relief and be sure to enjoy those grandkiddies.
Please don't include me in your drawing.i hve had a bad habit of making trips to Archiver's far to often in past years. It was so fun to go and see all the new goodies, but now there's too much.

  3. Hi Kath,
The heat is incredible isn't it?! But I do moan lol I hate the heat, Im sure I was a Polar Bear in my previous life haha I dug out my fan and have it half way across the room pointed in my direction as I am crafting.....it doesnt help too much to be honest lol I got into my car today and it was 34 degrees inside :( I always feel really sorry for my doggies with all their long hair , imagine how hot they must be lol And your furry boy is right to be sprawled out in the hall having a nap :)
I would love to be entered for a chance to win this fab mag, the little stamp on it looks adorable too! For some reason they have stopped selling Craft Stamper in all my local newsagents :(
Thanks for the chance and happy crafting,

I was crafting over at my neighbours tonight...and I didn't want to go homeas she has a heat pump with built in air conditioner. She had the heat/cool ait at 68...so refreshing!

Came home and my thermostat said the house was 86!!!

( have gardening on the agenda for to morrow so will have to dig out my straw hat to keep the sun off my head and neck!

I would love to go in your draw! u are always so generous Kath. Thank you so much for the chance to win.

  8. That's so lucky for us Kath...keep those double copies coming ;0) It is glorious at the moment but really it's garden rather than crafting weather. My studio reached 36c yesterday. .eek. I'm off to work today with air con...for once I am looking forward to it! X

  9. Hi Kath, would it be a sight for sore eyes as they used to say? or let it all hang free maybe? I'd be too scared I caught some loose skin in one of our many gadgets, but I did used to think while abroad on hols that wouldn't it be great to have a wee private beach where I could go NAKED! No sweat sticking to the bathing suit, heaven! No sun today yet, nice and cool for the pets. Dying to see some of your projects, I saw some lovely Hero Art stamps lying on your worktop. It's great to read the comments from your bloggers all over the world, have a good day Kath...Trish

  10. Hi Kath, shame that Buddy cannot strip off too, I don't go quite so far as naked but do sit in my thin dressing gown - heaven. It is a bit cooler here today with a lovely breeze, hope you are getting one too. CS is excellent this month, so whoever wins is in for a treat. Hugs, Anne x

  13. Hi Kath, sounds like you're firing on all cylinders to me, despite the searing heat! I had an "adapt and overcome" afternoon yesterday, crafting on half a table in the lounge where it's marginally cooler than the back room! Hope you enjoyed your time with your grandchildren. Hugs, Julie xx

  20. Naked Crafter? Could help smiling at this. You should come to Malta for some sizzling heat and paper fluttering all over the room as the fan snips round. AC are a must! Enjoy the sunshine while it's there.

  22. Naked Crafter ... the mind boggles. But you are right, it's as hot as the hobs of hell down this way too. I'm still chuckling, no not at the vision of you in the buff, but at the photo of himself lying across the entrance to the craft room ... it's clear nobody is going to disturb you without him knowing :)) Elizabeth xx
